Smallholder, breeder and writer about all things sheep, pig and bird!
A townie by birth, Liz gave up urban living to embrace the “good life”, and has never looked back. She has a smallholding in Carmarthenshire, west Wales, where she keeps pedigree Tamworth pigs, sheep, and poultry. As well as selling produce from her livestock, she sells pedigree breeding pigs worldwide.
When not breeding champion pigs Liz writes about agriculture and the countryside and lectures in livestock production at Coleg Sir Gâr in Llandeilo. She is the resident pig expert for Country Smallholding magazine, and is the author of four books – the Haynes Smallholding Manual, Haynes Pig Manual, Haynes Sheep Manual, and The Practical Guide to Buying and Running a Smallholding in Wales.
