Wake up at the heart of the Humble by Nature farm when you stay in the Piggery. This two-bed family friendly holiday cottage is part of the original farmhouse and looks across the fields with sheep, cows and horses.
The cottage sleeps four, with one double and one twin room. It has a well-equipped modern kitchen and there’s a woodburning stove and flat screen TV in the sitting room for cosy evenings in. Outside is a private garden with hens so you can collect your own eggs. It’s ideally situated for exploring the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean and there’s plenty to do in the area for guests big and small.
Bring your wellies and spend a morning helping Farmer Tim with his jobs around the farm: feeding the animals or mucking out! Collect your own eggs for breakfast from the chickens next to the garden; young farmers will love to play on the pedal tractor.
Don’t feel like cooking? Visit The Pig & Apple cafe on the farm. Open Wednesday to Sunday serving fresh coffee and delicious, locally sourced food.

We've had a super stay at The Piggery. The cottage is gorgeous and so beautifully presented and obviously cared for. We have loved exploring the farm and getting to know the animals, the goats are a real favourite!
A very enjoyable week in this cosy, comfortable and well equipped cottage. We loved looking after the chickens and fresh eggs every day. The food at The Inn at Penallt was 'scrummy' - very friendly staff, great with children.
Thank you all for such a friendly, welcoming time. The Pigs for Beginners course was amazing and Bob was an inspiration.
