Introduction

Stay in the old Hayloft at Humble by Nature and get a real feel for farm life. This studio apartment is positioned at the heart of the farm on the upper floor of our Long Barn.

Walk up the original stone steps of the c.18th barn to the Hayloft and admire the beautiful views across the fields. The apartment is bright, airy and perfect for two. A travel cot and blow up bed are available for smaller visitors on request. At the bottom of the stairs there’s a small garden looking across the fields with hand-made table and benches, perfect for breakfast and watching the lambs.

The Hayloft is an ideal getaway whether you’re taking part in a course or just fancy a break in the beautiful Monmouthshire countryside.

Don’t feel like cooking? The Pig & Apple does great burgers to eat-in, or takeaway from Thursday to Saturday evenings.

What our guests say..
  • An impromptu stay, but nothing was too much trouble. A wonderful and cosy evening was spent in the Hayloft – made it a lovely relaxing start to our Bank Holiday break, couldn’t have asked for more!

  • Exceedingly well thought out loft accommodation for two and the welcome goodies were a lovely touch. Meeting one week old piglets, watching “one man and his dog” - Farmer Tim herding sheep and hearing the dawn chorus from the hen house all gave us a fantastic one week snapshot of life on a farm!

  • We have felt so at home in the Hayloft and on this friendly farm. It has been a wonderful experience having a few days of life on a farm - although ours was a more relaxing one than Farmer Tim had with his sheep. Thank you to Humble by Nature!
