Kate Humble patron for Bees for Development
20 May

On World Bee Day 2022 Kate Humble was announced as a new patron for Bees for Development.

Kate is no stranger to the benefits of bees, having already installed a number of colonies in the new apiary here at Humble by Nature. As well as hosting several Bees for Development courses on the farm each year, where attendees get to meet the colonies and learn about the fundamentals of beekeeping.

Bees for Development is the global charity which makes life better with bees. They promote sustainable beekeeping to combat poverty, build resilient livelihoods and benefit biodiversity.

Kate joins a wonderful list of patrons, including Monty Don, Sting, Bill Turnbull, Baroness Anita Gale, Professor Tom Seeley and Martha Kearney; all of whom, along with our President, The Duchess of Cornwall, are extremely valued ambassadors for the charity.
