Goats cheese on toast recipe from Escape to the Farm

Make the Goats Cheese Toasts with Honey, Walnuts and Thyme as featured on Escape to the Farm. Perfect for a delicious, light lunch, it gives a taste of being in Greece.

Serves 2


  • 2 or 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 120g Soft goats cheese
  • Runny honey, to taste
  • 6-8 walnut halves
  • 4 sprigs thyme or lemon thyme, leaves only
  • sea salt and freshly ground black pepper


  1. Toast the slices of sourdough
  2. Divide the goats cheese between the slices and spread on thickly.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Drizzle over the honey and crumble the walnuts on top.
  5. Scatter with the thyme leaves and serve straight away.
