Smallholding course attendees with lamb at Humble by Nature

Thank you for your continued support of Humble by Nature. We have postponed all our courses until the end of August and now plan to be back open in a distanced way in September.

We have been in close discussion with our tutors and have also engaged with our Environmental Health Officer to examine how we run courses and what modifications will need to take place, including:

  • Continued social distancing and hygiene considerations
  • Individual work stations and equipment
  • Limited numbers on rescheduled courses

The following courses have rescheduled dates later this year and in 2021:

  • Smallholding for Beginners
  • Sheep for Beginners
  • Biltong & Jerky
  • Wild Food Foraging
  • Lino Print Landscapes
  • Photography: Capturing the Natural World
  • Raku Pottery
  • Willow Garden Structures
  • Willow Garden Trug
  • Build a Pizza Oven
  • Dry Stone Walling

The following courses have been rescheduled to 2021:

  • Lambing: A Day in the Shed
  • Shearing
  • Cyanotype Print Making
  • Learn How to Spin Sheep Wool
  • Bread Making with Hobbs House Bakery
  • Building with Lime
  • Learn to Design & Plant an Edible Garden

Courses which are postponed until 2021 – awaiting new dates:

  • Ham, Bacon & Sausages
  • Southern European Charcuterie

The options for your booking are:

  • To move to a course later this year or in 2021.
  • To receive a voucher to the value of your booking, redeemable against any of our courses or accommodation.
  • To cancel your booking and receive a refund to the original payment method.

If you would like to move to an alternative course date:

  • Please confirm which date you would like to attend.
  • These courses will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. If your chosen course is full, we will email you to confirm which dates are left.

We hope that you would like to move your course booking, or take up a voucher. Gift vouchers will be valid for an extended period of 14 months, to use on any of our courses or accommodation. The course or stay does not need to take place within 14 months, simply booked.
