Weave a Willow Reindeer

Learn how to weave a willow reindeer with Wyldwood Willow and get your Christmas decorations off to a flying start. These fabulous willow reindeers will look great inside or outside.
Amanda will guide you through the techniques of weaving your reindeer, breaking it down into manageable step by step stages. You’ll start with the framework of the body and the head before filling it in and adding the ears and antlers. Amanda will be on hand to give you as much, or as little, help as you need.
This course is great for both beginners and anyone who has tried willow weaving before.

Amanda will explain the basic techniques of willow weaving and the steps involved in creating your willow reindeer.
Amanda will demonstrate each stage then you'll select your willow rods and start weaving. You can have as much or as little help as you need.
After you've created the main framework for the body and head of your reindeer, you'll start filling it in and then get onto the details that will really give it character like the ears and antlers.
The course will finish with tea and cake and the opportunity to ask any further questions.

Weave a Willow Reindeer will run from 10am until 4pm and includes a delicious farm lunch.
We’ll provide all the materials for this course and at the end of the day you’ll take home your willow reindeer.
Your reindeer will be approximately 70cm tall and 70cm long.
