This contemporary willow basket can be used within the home to display your favourite things, or taken out to do the shopping. The basket is based on a traditional shopper, with a round base. You’ll use a variety of colours of willow and weaving techniques to create a truly unique look. Finishing off with a beautiful driftwood handle.
Amanda will guide you through the ancient art of willow weaving, showing you what to do at each stage and giving you as much help as you need to weave your basket. This willow weaving course is suitable for complete beginners and those who have done some willow weaving before.

Introduction to Willow Weaving
Amanda will explain the basic techniques of willow weaving and the materials you'll be using to weave your basket.

Choose your rods and get started on the base of your basket.

Amanda will guide you through the stages of weaving the sides and finally adding the driftwood handles.
