Marmalade Making

Join Angharad Underwood of The Preservation Society and learn how to make delicious, fail proof marmalade. It won’t just be any old marmalade – it’s Seville Orange Marmalade, using the new season’s Seville Oranges.
You’ll use the whole cooked orange method but we’ll also talk through the sliced fruit method, as well as what fruit to use and when. Angharad will share lots of hints and tips with you, so that you can make marmalade your way at any time.
Seville oranges aren’t just for marmalade! You’ll also make a fantastic Seville orange gin and a Seville orange curd.
At the end of the day, you’ll leave with plenty of fruit and jars, armed with marmalade brilliance.

You'll learn all about preserving methods of making marmalade, savoury marmalade and curds using citrus fruits. What fruit to use and when with plenty of hints and tips to make your own delicious preserves.

This course will run from 10am until 4pm and includes a delicious farm lunch.
