Combine your break with learning a new skill

Come on one of our rural skills, cookery, craft and animal husbandry courses

The Hayloft

Get a real feel for farm life by staying in the old Hayloft.

Positioned at the heart of the farm on the upper floor of our Long Barn, the beautifully restored Hayloft is an ideal getaway for two whether you're coming on one of our courses or just fancy a truly rural break.

Walk up the original stone steps to the Hayloft and enter the kitchen/dining area; equipped with a table top oven, sink and fridge. The shower room leads off the kitchen. The Hayloft's main studio room is divided by a large bookshelf into the living area with a three seater sofa, armchair and television/DVD and the sleeping area with stylish modern king sized bed and chest of drawers.

This bright and airy apartment has beautiful views across the fields. There is use of a small private garden looking across the fields with table and benches at the bottom of the stairs.

Spend a morning with Farmer Tim: don your wellies and find out what goes on behind the scenes of this working farm. Bottle-feed the orphan lambs in the Spring, muck out the pigs and check on the goats. A favourite with guests young and old!
