Join Farmer Tim for a day in the lambing shed.

In this hands-on day you’ll learn how to:

  • Care for pregnant sheep
  • Recognise labour, common problems and unusual behaviour in labour
  • Deliver after-care of the ewe.

This day will consist of a mixture of class-room learning and time observing the ewes in the lambing shed, the format of the day will be dictated by the ewes in the shed.

We have done everything possible to give the best chance of lambing during the course but we cannot 100% guarantee it.

This course is suitable for everyone, whether you have sheep and want to learn more about lambing, or just want to come and experience the magic of the lambing shed.

Reviews & Tweets about this course

I'm not one to go OTT or dramatic about things, but I think quite honestly that it was one of the best experiences (outside my own family of course) that I have had. The whole day from hospitality, lunch, and of course the main event with Tim exceeded my expectations enormously.

It was "everything it says on the tin" and heaps more! Farmer Tim exudes quiet confidence, passion for his work and cheery enthusiasm in sharing his experience and knowledge. As a small group we enjoyed the best of attention.
