Weave A Fresh Willow Frame Basket

Saturday 27th Jan 2018

Weave a brightly coloured frame basket using fresh willow.

Freshly harvested semi-green willow comes in vibrant greens and oranges. The colours of early willow are stronger than you will find later in the year and will give you a stunning effect for your basket.

This basket is great for foraging or collecting garden produce as the year progresses or for drying things over the fire.

Learn willow weaving basket weaving garden structures and sculptures with Amanda Rayner of Wyldwood Willlow at Humble by Nature Kate Humble's farm in Monmouth South Wales

Amanda Rayner makes beautiful baskets, garden structures, sculptures and coffins and will be sharing her knowledge and skills in workshops throughout the year.
