This two-day intermediate aquaponics course is ideal if you are thinking about starting an aquaponics project or if you've been on the one-day Introduction to Aquaponics course.
This course will give you a good grounding in how aquaponics works. You'll learn about the biological componants of an aquaponics system: plants, fish and bacteria. You will spend time in our aquaponics solar greenhouse getting to know the set-up before looking in more detail at designing your own system.
This two-day course will run from 10am - 4pm on Saturday and Sunday.
You will have a mixture of time spent in the classroom and looking at our aquaponics system on the farm.
The course price includes tea or coffee at the start of both days, lunch and afternoon tea. It does not include accommodation or your evening meal on Saturday night or breakfast on Sunday morning. You can either stay on the farm or our accommodation nearby page lists places you can stay locally.
