Liz Sivewright
Liz discovered her love of poultry while working on her uncle’s egg farm, collecting and delivering around Swansea. This love has now developed into an addiction and she keeps Pekins of various colours for breeding and a mixed bunch of Warrens, Wyandotte’s, Marans and Leg-bars for eggs. As well as being a qualified nurse, Liz is an assessor in commercial poultry management and founded a hugely popular local poultry and game group. She also runs PekinMix, a site where people can buy her beautiful hens.
Liz is a key member of our poultry teaching team, along with her husband Wally, and James North - their courses are thoroughly practical and hands on. They'll give you the confidence either to start keeping hens for eggs, or to take your chicken expertise to a new level!
