Katherine Marland

Katherine Marland runs Kather's Kitchen Pop-up Dinners at Humble by Nature.

Her passion for all things food-related began on the Derbyshire farm where she grew up.  "Dairy cows, sheep, pigs, chickens and a whopping kitchen garden meant we were frequently eating entirely home-grown food."  Kather's two great cooking mentors were her mother, a truly talented cook, and her grandfather, who was an expert fish and game cook.

After getting her formal culinary tuition, she went to cook in Africa. With a young family pureeing took over, then several years of doing cookery demonstrations. Kather is delighted to be doing Pop-up Dinners on the farm and teaching farm-inspired cookery courses.
