New courses: Stock Fencing and Spinning and Plant Dyeing

Thursday 23rd March 2017

We're delighted to announce two new courses for 2017 - Stock Fencing and Spinning and Plant Dyeing.

Stock fencing

Good stock fencing is essential if you're keeping livestock. This hands-on day with Farmer Tim will see you out in the field, trying your hand at post and rail, netting and barb and netting and rail fencing as well as hanging a field gate.

Find out more about Stock Fencing - Sunday 10th September, 10am - 4pm.

Spinning and Plant Dyeing

A great introduction to spinning, from sorting and preparing fleece to getting on the spinning wheel. You'll also cover the first steps in dyeing fleece, using foraged plant materials and store cupboard ingredients. You'll take home yarn that has been hand spun and plant dyed.
